Harvey Edward Streiff passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his parents’ home at the age of 55.

Harvey was born Oct. 14, 1957, in International Falls, Minn.

He graduated from Falls High School in 1976 and he played football and hockey during some of his high school years.

Harvey began working at Boise paper mill shortly after he took classes online and became a machinist.

Harvey lived life to the fullest until he became ill 10 years ago.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Baltzie and Ida Streiff and Jack and Emma Storey; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Harvey is survived by his folks, Floyd and Jerry Streiff; two sisters, Pat (Jim) Mitchell and Joy (Donny) Porter; a brother, John (Tami) Streiff; nieces, Lynette Mitchell Gozenski, Kirsten Mitchell (Mike Davis), Kyla Streiff and Josie Porter; nephews, Nick (Jen) Alleman, Bill (Angela) Alleman and Dylan Streiff; great-nephews and nieces, Kaleb Brown, Casey Alleman, Ethan Alleman, Hope Alleman, Zoe Gozenski, Eva Gozenski and Marley Alleman; very special friend, Lori Constantine; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at First Lutheran Church.

Arrangements are with Green-Larsen Mortuary Inc., International Falls.
