Jaclyn Ellis, Farmington, daughter of Keith and Kathy Ellis, Farmington, and Ross Enger, Orange City, Iowa, son of Tom and former International Falls resident Mona (Lindholm) Enger, Anoka, exchanged vows May 22, 2011, at South Suburban Evangelical Free Church, Apple Valley.
The groom is the grandson of the late Ruben and Bertha Lindholm.
The Rev. Bruce Bentley performed the 2 p.m. traditional wedding ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Keith Ellis.
Pianist was Catherine Rivard.
Church decorations of plants and floral arrangements were done by Mona Enger.
The bride chose a simple dress featuring a short train. She carried a bouquet of yellow gerbera daisies, white roses and purple and white baby’s breath.
Maid of honor was Carolyn Ellis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katelyn Bladel, Rebecca Carlson and Jayanna Helbig, friends of the bride.
The attendants wore tiny white and yellow beaded necklaces designed by Whitney Left Hand Bull, St. Francis, S.D.
Best man was Andrew Wilkins, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Daniel Ellis and Jonathan Ellis, brothers of the bride, and Greg Finley, friend of the couple.
The mother of the bride chose a purple dress and the groom’s mother wore a baby blue dress.
Hors d’oeuvres and a dance followed the ceremony at 3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Lakeville.
The bride is a graduate of Northwestern College, St. Paul, with a degree in math education.
The groom graduated from Northwestern College with a bachelor of arts degree in youth ministry.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home at Orange City.
