Kari Gudim, daughter of Duane and Judy Gudim, Rockford, and Nicholas Ruport, son of Darcy and Brenda Ruport, International Falls, were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Bloomington.
The bride appeared in a Mori Lee dress by Madeline Gardner and was escorted down the aisle by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was sister of the bride, Katelyn Gudim. Bridesmaids were Krista Gudim, sister of the bride, Andrea Tollefson, friend of the bride, and Andrea Petersen, cousin of the groom.
The groom’s best man was Mathew Loken, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Burke Bolstad, cousin of the groom, Adam Hinrichs, cousin of the groom and Jason Gudim, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Liberty Berg, cousin of the groom and ring bearer was Jordan Gudim, cousin of the bride.
Serving as ushers were Jonathan Petersen, cousin of the groom and Jon Craig, friend of the groom.
The bride’s personal attendants were Bethany Erickson and Allison Roen, friends of the bride.
The gift table was attended by Amanda Bolstad and Sophie Bolstad, cousins of the groom. The three-tier cake was prepared by Mickey Belanger, friend of the groom.
A dinner followed the ceremony in the church basement. The groom’s grandmother’s recipe for lasagna was prepared by Kathy Laurent.
Following the ceremony, the couple took a honeymoon trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and Chicago.
The couple are making their home in Roseville.
