Jade Hellen, Pine River, Minn., and Derek Faith, International Falls, Minn., were united in marriage Nov. 3, 2012, at Whitefish Lodge and Suites, Crosslake, Minn.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kim Hellen, Pine River. The groom is the son of John and Lynda Faith, International Falls.
Officiant was the bride’s uncle, Dennis Feller.
The orchestra included the bride’s brother, Dustin Hellen; Scott Rogers; the groom’s father, John Faith; his brother, Jeremy and sister, Heather; along with several Faith aunts and uncles.
The church was decorated with birch, pine cones and twinkle lights.
The bride, given in marriage by her dad, Mark Hellen, appeared in a Maggie Sottero “Madison” strapless gown featuring a sweetheart A-line in white charmeuse satin.
She carried a bouquet of white mums, roses, ranunculus, brown thistles and fir needles wrapped in twine.
Identical twin sister of the bride, Gwen Dezelske, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Anita Jones and Lyla Owens.
The attendants wore off-the shoulder charmeuse sheaths in emerald.
Their bouquets were white mums, brown, thistle, fir needles and greenery wrapped in twine.
Serving as the groom’s best man was Harley Droba. Groomsmen were TeeJay Campbell, Joe Flynn and David Fabian.
The groom wore an all-white tuxedo, vest and tie.
His attendants wore black tuxedos with emerald vest and ties.
The men’s boutonnieres were brown thistle, fir needles and twine.
The mother of the bride chose a navy, knee-length satin and lace dress and the groom’s mother wore a champagne, floor-length dress.
A reception took place at the Whitefish Lodge and Suites. Decorations were done by the bride’s mom and twin sister and consisted of birch, pine cones and twinkle lights.
Dance music was provided by Mr. Faith’s Sound and Light.
The bride received a masters degree in English from Bemidji State University and the groom earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies at BSU.
Following a wedding trip to Disney World, Florida, the couple make their home at Hastings, Minn.
