Janice Carole Higgins and Nathaniel John Borgen were married Nov. 7, 2009, at Unity Christ Church, Golden Valley.
Janice is the former executive director of Friends Against Abuse, retiring in February 2008.
John is employed by Education Minnesota as a field representative.
The couple resides in St. Louis Park.
