Anneliese Claire Werner and Micah Charles Thomas were united in marriage Aug. 2, 2008, at the Werner home on Rainy Lake. Martin Berskow, uncle of the bride, performed the outdoor ceremony.
Teresa Heller, cousin of the bride from Germany, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley and Kara Werner and Kaitlyn Lorsbach, cousins of the bride.
They wore gowns of cobalt blue silk with chiffon overlay.
They wore blue three-stone necklaces, gifts of the brie.
The bride chose a gown of oyster colored satin with an ivory lace overlay and Zwarovski crystal accents.
She wore a pearl necklace and earrings and carried a bouquet of pink roses.
Flower girls were Holly, Rhyanna and Jenna, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Collin Thomas, brother of the groom. Cameron Thomas and Ryan Juitilainen were groomsmen.
The ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing.
The bride is a graduate of St. Olaf’s College and teaches English at Park High School, Cottage Grove. The groom attends U of M in computer sciences.
The couple is at home in Richfield.
