COUNTY BIDS BIDS CLOSE APRIL 26, 2012
Sealed proposals will be received by the Koochiching County Board of Commissioners at the office of the County Auditor in the Courthouse at International Falls until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 26, 2012 at which time they will be opened and read publicly for the following:
Hired Truck Rental for County Wide Gravel Hauling
Seasonal bids for Corrugated Metal Culverts (spiral and annular riveted), Aluminum Coated or Aluminum Metal Culverts, Spiral Polymer Culverts, and Reinforced Concrete Culverts All unit prices to include delivery to any point in the County. All items must meet Mn/DOT specifications.
Gravel Crushing of County Stockpile near CSAH 138 & TH 11. Amount of the contract is limited to $100,000.

Bid forms may be obtained from the County Engineer’s Office, 715 4th Street, International Falls, MN. 56649 or phone 218-283-1187 or email to will.hoyt@co.koochiching.mn.us at no cost for Hired Truck Rental and Gravel Crushing forms. The bid for Seasonal culvert bids shall be submitted on forms usually used by the Company submitting the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check, money order, or certified check made payable to the Koochiching County Treasurer in the amount of $200.00 for the Hired Truck Rental Bid and 5% of the bid amount for gravel crushing and blasting projects. No bid bond is required for the seasonal requirements bid.
Each bid shall be plainly marked on the outside of the containing envelope “County Bids, April 26, 2012” and returned to the County Auditor’s Office.
The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and reserves the right to award the contract to the best interest of the County.
