County Bids Bids close May 3, 2012

Sealed proposals will be received by the Koochiching County Board of Commissioners at the office of the County Auditor in the Courthouse at International Falls until 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 3, at which time they will be opened and read publicly for the following:

•    CP 2012-05 Bituminous Surfacing on Portions of CR 112, 115, 120,             123, 132 and Unorganized Township Road 225 and 335 east of             International Falls. Total length - 1.66 miles. The major quantity is             1,844 tons of Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mixture (2,C).

Bid forms may be obtained electronically at no cost or $10.00 by mail.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check, money order, or certified check made payable to the Koochiching County Treasurer in the amount of 5% of the bid amount.

Each bid shall be plainly marked on the outside of the containing envelope “County Bids, May 3, 2012” and returned to the County Auditor’s Office.

The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and reserves the right to award the contract to the best interest of the County.
