Frontier provides basic residential services for rates from $14.25 -$22.01* for flat rate service. Frontier also provides basic business services for rates from $28.50 -$44.03*. Frontier offers single party service, touch tone, toll blocking, access to long distance, emergency services, operator assistance, and directory assistance. Use of these services may result in additional charges. Budget or economy services also may be available.
Low-income individuals may be eligible for a reduction on their residential telephone bill with Lifeline. Lifeline service provides discounts up to $11.75 monthly(discount subject to change).
Lifeline is a non-transferable government assistance program that provides a discount on the cost of monthly telephone service. To be eligible for Lifeline, you must meet income based requirements or participate in one of the following programs: Medicaid, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families Program (TANF), National School Free Lunch Program (NSL). Your eligibility to participate in these programs will be verified by Frontier or an authorized state agency. Lifeline is limited to one discount per household and only eligible customers may enroll.
In addition to Basic Lifeline, individuals living on federally recognized Tribal Lands whose household meets income based requirements or those that participate in one of the following federal assistance programs may also qualify for additional monthly discounts through Enhanced Lifeline or up to $100.00 toward installation fees through the Tribal Link-Up program: Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribally Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Head Start (income based only), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations.
Lifeline and Tribal Link-Up are a part of the Federal Universal Service Fund program. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established the program and created the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) to administer it. The goal of the Universal Service program is to assist in making essential telecommunications services affordable to most customers.
