PRELIMINARY NOTICE OF POTENTIAL ADVERSE EFFECT ON A HISTORIC PROPERTY

The USDA Rural Utilities Service has received an application for financial assistance from the City of Big Falls. The proposal consists of refurbishing the existing pump house, adding a new water treatment plant, replacing the elevated water tower, replacing the water distribution system and adding water meters. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of this effect and request comments concerning the proposal, alternative sites or actions that would avoid these impacts, and methods that could be used to minimize these impacts.
