SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #362

April 18, 2012

1.    The April 18, 2012 regular meeting of the School Board was called to             order by Chair John Mastin at 7:00 p.m. with all members present             except:

2.     Student of the Month: Jr. High Alexis D.; Sr. High Ashley L.

3.    Motion by Imhof, seconded by Nelson, and carried unanimously to

     approve the agenda.  Post Pone #11

4.    Correspondence: Update of Mock Crash, Pacesetters, JO Volleyball             and Timber Talk at Boise

5.    Public Forum: Coaching Posting

6.    Motion by Franz, seconded by Lepisto, and carried unanimously  to             approve the minutes of the March 21, 2012 regular meeting with the             correction that #2 of the Consent Agenda was moved down to #10             and approved.

7.    Motion by Nelson, seconded by Imhof, and carried unanimously

     to approve the invoices in the amount of $86,527.23.

8.    Motion by Gray, seconded by Imhof, and carried unanimously

     to approve the Treasurer’s Report.

9.    Motion by Imhof, seconded by Franz, and carried unanimously    

     to approve the consent agenda:

    A.    Hiring

        1.    Rachel Helleloid- High School Math (.64 FTE): 2012-2013

        2.    Derek Bilben- Jr. High Softball Coach: 2011-2012

10.    Motion by Nelson, seconded by Franz, and carried unanimously to             approve the Non-Certified Contract (2011-2013)

11.    Posting of Schedule B contracts for 2012-2013.

12.    Administrative staffing plan.  Members will be appointed at the May             Meeting.

13.    Staff Workshop: April 27th-Agenda

14.    Counselor “I Make a Difference” Presentation by Mrs. Angie Williams.

15.    Reports:

    A.    Motion by Lepisto, seconded by Nelson, and carried unanimously                 to approve the Building and Grounds committee’s proposal as                 prioritized.

    B.    Motion by Nelson; seconded by Lepisto, and carried unanimously                 to approve the 2012-2013 Tech budget of $66,401.

    C.    Policy

16.    Motion by Nelson, seconded by Lepisto, and carried unanimously to             adjourn at 7:50 o’clock.
