The Northeast Workforce Investment Board and Northeast Youth Council are soliciting proposals from qualified organizations for the operation and delivery of federally funded Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title 1 Youth Summer Program Element “Leadership Development Opportunities” in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St Louis Counties, excluding the City of Duluth, for the period of May 1, 2012 through August 31, 2012, contingent upon available WIA funding. Additional information regarding the proposal process and services requested are included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be available after 12 p.m. March 17, 2012 to March 24, 2012 through 2 electronic methods: 1. E-mail request to Renee.Marconett@state.mn.us; all requests must have an e-mail address so that an electronic copy of the RFP can be returned, or; 2. Downloaded from http://www.jobtrainingmn.org/ . No paper copies of the RFP will be sent. Failure to provide an e-mail address will result in the proposal not being considered. The deadline for proposals to be received by NE MN Office of Job Training staff and considered for funding is 3:00p.m., March 30, 2012.
