In loving memory of my dear husband, Ed Belanger, who passed away eight years ago today.

Miss Me But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun has set for me;

I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,

Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little ... but not too long,

And not with your head bowed low;

Remember the love that was once shared,

For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone.

It’s part of the Master’s plan,

A step on the road home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,

Go to the friends we know;

And bury your sorrows in good deeds ...

Miss me but ... let me go.

Sadly missed by his wife, Darlene

Beloved Papa,
I love you and miss you more than you can imagine. I hope you're proud of the woman I've become. I wish you could be here to see how everyone has grown...but I know you're watching us, and I hope it brings a smile to your face. I wouldn't be who I am today without you.
