In loving memory of our beloved father and grandfather, Cy Kirvan, who died 32 years ago, Feb. 7.
Peacefully sleeping, resting at last;
The world’s weary troubles and trials are past.
In silence he suffered, in patience he bore;
Till God called him home, to suffer no more.

They are not lost who find the
Light and sun and stars and “God.”
God looked upon His garden,
And found an empty place;
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your beautiful face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you up above;
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Please don’t mourn for me,
I’m still here, though you don’t see.
I’m right by your side each night and day,
And within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone but I’m always near;
I’m everything you feel, see or hear.
I’ll never wander out of your sight,
I’m the brightest star on a summer night.
You can talk to me from up above,
I’ll whisper through the leaves on the trees.
And you’ll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.
I’m the hot salty tears that flow when you sleep.
I’m the smile you see.
Just look for me -
I’m everywhere.
We love and miss you every day -
your husband, Terry and Bandit
daughter, Christine and Stephen
son, Pat and Amy and granddaughters
special friend, Gloria
sisters, Karin and Sandy
and many other friends and family
too many to mention
