Ann Reff

Ann Reff, 95, of International Falls, Minn., died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society — International Falls.

Ann was born Nov. 17, 1922, in International Falls, to parents, Tony and Lucy (Matubzia) Museta.

Ann grew up in International Falls.

She served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II.

Ann married William “Bill” Reff on Sept. 14, 1948.

She lived to be 95 and was very proud to be a veteran of the United States Air Force and would often say “That was the best time of her life.”

Ann was a welder, a bowler, and a square dancer.

She loved her family and lived long enough to meet her four great-grandchildren.

Fishing, card playing, watching movies, and listening to music were great hobbies of Ann’s.

Reading was a passion and especially stories of the Old West.

Ann said that she had a wonderful life and was ready to go home. God heard her prayers and welcomed her home.

She lived by the motto: “Keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart.”

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in December 1995; three brothers, John, Mike and Steve; and sisters, Rosika, Mary, Millie and Kitty.

Ann is survived by her sons, John (Gail) Reff, Tom (Liz) Reff and Joe (Bev) Reff; daughter, Judy (George) Bonnell; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Helen Matson and Doris DeMuth.

Funeral services with military rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Green Larsen Mortuary.

The family would prefer memorials to the Good Samaritan Society — Northwinds Assisted Living.

Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, International Falls.
