Cozette Irene Manders-Albright

Cozette Irene Manders-Albright, of Johnstown, Colo., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. She was 75.

The daughter of Joe Krall and Irene Hopper Krall, she was born in Ely, Minn., on June 12, 1937.

She graduated from Falls High School in 1955 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and voted the Most Athletic girl of her senior class.

She worked as a chemical lab secretary at Minnesota and Ontario Paper Company in International Falls, Minn., and Minneapolis, Minn.

She married Frank Manders on June 15, 1957, and lived in Minneapolis, Minn., from 1958 to 1968. They divorced in 1983.

She married Gerald E. Albright on March 13, 1986, in San Diego, Calif.; he preceded her in death on June, 2, 2005.

Cozette lived in Boulder, Colo., from 1968 to 1989.

She was a client service executive secretary at Neodata, Inc. until her retirement in 1989.

She returned to International Falls, Minn., for several years and then moved to Johnstown, Colo., in 1991 where she remained until her death.

She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star with dual membership in the St. Anthony Park Chapter No. 212 in Roseville, Minn., and Queen Esther Lodge No. 5 in Boulder, Colo.

She appreciated the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening throughout her entire life.

She is survived by her brother, Joe Krall (Kaye) of International Falls, Minn.; her daughter, Sherry Benedetti (John) of Louisville, Colo.; her son, Michael Manders (Lynn) of Louisville, Colo.; five stepchildren, Gerald Albright (Rita) of Louisville, Colo., Carmen Howe (Barry) of Brandon, S.D., Rex Albright (Renee) of Hermosa, S.D., Pat Albright of Billings, Mont., and Darin Albright (Rebecca) of Johnstown, Colo. She also leaves five grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gerald.

Interment will be next to her husband, Gerald, at Trinity Cemetery in Volga, S.D.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Northern Colorado or the Foundation fund for cancer care that touches you most.
