Karen Lynn Ostlund Vedaa passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Pasadena, Calif.
She was born Sept. 22, 1937.
The Indus High School Class of 1955 valedictorian went on to receive her master’s degree in speech pathology and worked until the day of her accident.
Beloved mother, grandmother and sister of her children, Elizabeth (Keith) Bishop, Robert (Jennifer) Vedaa and Katherine (Tim) Buttke; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mary (Don) Lashway, Ariane “Reni” (Victor) Mord, Arlene (Fred) Rish and Joyce (Gordon) Chrisp; brother, Paul Ostlund; and cousins, Gene Pierce and Jane Silvers of International Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter (1946) and Gladys (1989) of Birchdale.
A service will be conducted at a later date.

So sorry to hear about Karen. Lost not track of her over the years, but always thought about her because she was a good friend to Marlene Kutsi Peterson and all of you lived in the neighborhood. Fond memories!
