Lawrence Oliver “Larry” Hoff, of Rochester, Minn., died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.
Larry was born in Littlefork, Minn., on Aug. 25, 1942, to Henry and Rose (Prebil) Hoff.
He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in International Falls, Minn., until eighth grade.
Larry graduated from Bagley High School in 1960.
He married the love of his life, Sydney St. George, on March 30, 1963.
Larry graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1964 with a degree in finance. He enjoyed a successful career as an accountant and trips to Las Vegas, Nev.
Larry was a long time member of Pax Christi Catholic Church. He will be forever missed by his wife, Sydney; two sisters, Virginia (John) Bergvall of International Falls and Margaret (Bob) Abraham of Park Rapids, Minn.; a brother, Rudy (Betty) Hoff of Bonney Lake, Wash.; four children, Kathy (Mike) Puetz of St. Charles, Minn., Steve (Mary) Hoff of Denver, Colo., Kristin (Marty) Krage of Zumbrota, Minn., and Mike (Johnna) Hoff of Mantorville, Minn.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Larry donated his body to the Mayo Clinic.
A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
