Leola Pearl Marie Replogle (Grinsell), 85, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her home in Anoka, Minn., where she lived with her son.
Leola was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Fort Frances, Ontario, and grew up there, the daughter of E. Stephen and Lily B. Grinsell.
She married Marine Tsgt. Ferris E. Replogle (Ret) of Minneapolis, Minn., in 1955. He preceded her in death in April of 1962.
She raised their three children — Deborah, Christopher and Brian, in International Falls, Minn.
Leola was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Grinsell of Fort Frances and Vernon Grinsell of New York, and by her sisters, Darlene Arason of Andover, Minn., and Rochelle Jorgenson of Blaine, Minn.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Ligouri of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Velaire York of Fort Frances, and her brother, Martin Grinsell of Fort Frances. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and several grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Assembly area 6, where she will later be interred with her husband.
