Mandy Jo Leigh Brown, 36, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Maple Grove, Minn.
Mandy was born May 29, 1983, in International Falls, Minn., to Kim and Janie Brown.
She attended school and worked various places in the Falls.
She was known for her infectious laugh and sweet, generous heart. Her love for children was evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed making people laugh, planting flowers, and especially being in the water, canoeing, boating, cliff jumping or swimming.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, David McQuade Sr.; uncle, David McQuade Jr.; and niece, Kristelle Werdier.
She is survived by her loving parents, Kim and Janie Brown, International Falls; sister, Brittany (Jeremy) Jenson, Wyoming, Minn.; maternal grandmother, Nancy McQuade, Aurora, Minn.; paternal grandparents, Richard and Marge Brown, International Falls; aunts and uncles, Sharon (John) Smart, Grand Rapids, Minn., Stephanie McQuade, Aurora, Janet Downs, Duluth, Minn., Claudia (Lyle) Hietala, Palo, Minn., Debbie Green, Myrtle Beach, S.C., also Rick (Patty) Brown, International Falls, Roland (Marsha) Brown, Prior Lake, Minn., favorite uncle, Shannon (Tanea) Brown, International Falls; special family, Eric and Nikki Werdier and kids; and numerous loved cousins she shared many fun and wonderful memories with, such as being at the cabin, Bad Vermillion, cliff jumping and knee boarding behind the snowmobile, as well as her many friends.
She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services are planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Backus Auditorium, 900 Fifth St., International Falls.
