Ronald Lyle Locey-Scholler

Ron Locey-Scholler, 27, of International Falls, Minn., died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at the Elks Lodge 1599 in International Falls, with Pat Bjorum officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls. Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck assisted the family with arrangements.

Ron was born on May 6, 1987 in International Falls. He was raised in the Falls and graduated from Falls High School in 2005. He attended Rainy River Community College for two years studying industrial technology. Ron worked at Scholler Repair, NAPA, Super One, and Boise Cascade. For the past two and a half years, he has been battling a brain tumor. Ron enjoyed car racing, fishing, hunting and playing cards.

Ron is survived by his parents, Harold and Jean Scholler and Gene (Becky) Locey all of International Falls; two brothers, Donald and Chopper Scholler, both of International Falls; grandparents, Karen Erickson and Irene Locey, both of International Falls; special niece, Kya Scholler of International Falls; step brother, Michael Fisher; step sister, Sabra Shevich; and other relatives.

Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Beverly Scholler, Ronald Erickson and Lyle Locey; and two aunts, Debbie Julien and Linda Locey.
