Sandra Jacqueline Oster, 73, of International Falls, Minn., died Wednesday morning, May 16, 2019, at Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls.
She was born on July 12, 1945, in Bemidji, Minn., to Ingvald and Uiva Larson.
She moved to International Falls as an infant and graduated from Falls High School with the class of 1963.
She lived in Janesville, Wis. for a short time before moving back to International Falls.
She worked at Boise Cascade, Border Bargains, and The Bootery.
Sandra enjoyed cooking, catering, gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. She was also a member of TOPS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Oster; parents, Ingvald and Uiva Larson; brothers, Mike Barcley and Jack Larson; and an infant son, Michael.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Derek (Carrie) Clark of International Falls and Kevin Oster of Thunder Bay, Ontario; daughter, Cathy (Phil) Katzenberger of Farmington, Minn.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Tim Larson of International Falls, and Milo (Jackie) Barcley of Blackduck, Minn.; sister, Dalyce (Jon) Mackey of Calumet, Minn.; God-sisters, Kathy Sikkila and Susan Magner; sisters-in-law, Joy Barcley of Bemidji, Minn.; special friend, Jenny Baron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
