Timothy Gable

Timothy Joseph (Tim) Gable, 55, of International Falls, Minn., passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Tim was born June 3, 1957, in International Falls.

He married Beth Tufvander on April 11, 1999, in Orlando, Fla.

Tim’s life revolved around his family. Spending time with his wife and daughters was his favorite pastime.

He also enjoyed anything related to repairing and building computers, and loved the challenge of solving the seemingly unsolvable.

He loved to cook and barbeque, and experimented frequently on his family with new recipes, usually successfully.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Gable; infant sister, Barbara Jo; brother-in-law, Tom Lewis; father-in-law, Rusty Tufvander; and a beloved cat, “TC.”

Tim is survived by his best friend and soul mate, his wife, Beth; two beautiful daughters, Erin Louise and Catherine Susan, both of whom take after him; brothers, Rick (Janna) of Sunnyvale, Calif., Dennis (Pam) of Vadnais Heights, Minn., and Gary (Mohrghaine) of Minneapolis, Minn.; sister, Kathy Lewis of Stockholm, Wis.; mother-in-law, Phyllis Tufvander of Littlefork, Minn.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, in-laws and friends; three spoiled cats, and several goldfish.

Tim always said “Things happen for a reason.” We can’t imagine the reason behind losing him so soon, but maybe someday it will become clearer.

“Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity.” ~ Terri Guillemets
