Victoria Weis Mason was born to John (Skinny) and Gloria Weis (Wilde) on Sept. 23, 1957, in Austin, Minn., where she attended St. Edward’s Catholic Grade School and graduated from Austin High School in 1976.

While working in a clothing store in International Falls, Minn., Victoria met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Mason, and the two began their lives together traveling to many cities where Bob played professional hockey.

Victoria and Bob wed on June 15, 1991, and made their home in Bloomington, Minn.

Victoria’s career as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines frequently took her to the Orient and many other European locations.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gourmet cooking for family and friends using many of her homegrown herbs.

She also found time to avidly collect antiques and became a well-known expert in mid-century and vintage jewelry.

Our darling Victoria courageously fought cancer for two years and passed away surrounded by loved ones Monday, March 18, 2019.

Victoria was preceded in death by both parents; and her father-in-law, Don.

She is survived by husband, Bob; sister, Mary; Barb (Jim Crumb); brother, John (Karla); brother, Charles; mother-in-law, Pam; sister-in-law, Nancy (Mike); brother-in-law, Billy (Shawn); brother-in-law, Jimmy (Stephanie); and several nieces and nephews.

Victoria lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for her kindness, elegance and sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
