A memorial mass for Ronald George Schmidt, who died on July 23, 2014, was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls.
Officiating was Fr. Ben Hadrich and Deacon Fran Zaren.
Music was by Joe Belanger, Margarete Kostiuk and Kendra Schmidt.
Ushers were Frank Watkinson and Tom Doris.
Readers were Zachary Schultz and Joshua Shultz.
Presentation of the gifts was by Zachary, Cara, Ian, Joshua and Kendra Schmidt.
Eucharistic ministers were Diane Peters and Jim Cowlishaw.
Remembrances were by Cara Schultz.
Presentation of the flag was by Wayne Sampson and Kathy Sikkila.
Honorary pallbearers were Zachary Schultz, Roland Minse, Joshua Schultz, Robert Jensen Sr., Kendra Schmidt, Merlyn Masters, Ian Schultz, Douglas Fleming, Arland Gregor, Douglas Bertilson, Jerome Gracyalny, and Robert Jensen Jr.
Interment took place at St. Thomas Cemetery in International Falls.
