Memorial Mass for William “Bill” Dougherty, 82, of Rainy Lake and Tamarac, Fla., who died Sunday, April 11, 2013, at Essentia Health, Duluth, Minn., was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Officiating was Fr. Kris McKusky.
Music was by Joe Belanger and May Ann Kalar.
Readers were Rachel Dougherty, Laura Dougherty and Pat Bjorum.
Remembrances were given by Charlie Dougherty and Andy Dougherty.
Presentation of Gifts was by Michael and Joey Dougherty, Lucas Brinkman and James Gordon.
Eucharistic ministers were Bunny Green, Phyllis Karsnia and Marge Veeder.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael, Rachel, Laura, Joey, and Andrew Dougherty, James Gordon, Lucas Brinkman, Lacey and Thasa Cottrell, and Abigail Gordon.
Altar servers were Ameilia Stewart and Darlene Tomczak.
Frank Youso and Francis Hauner were ushers.
Military rites were accorded by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars club. Flag presentation was by Wayne Sampson and Brian Briggs.
Arrangements were with Green-Larsen Mortuary Inc., International Falls.
