FALLS SCHOOL BOARD
A special meeting of the Falls School Board will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday at Falls High School cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting is to act on expulsion of three students.
NDSU REPRESENTATIVE
A representative from the Office of Admission at North Dakota State University will visit Falls High School at 9 a.m. March 19. The representative will help high school students learn how to earn a degree from NDSU, which is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education. Information will be shared about NDSU’s leading academic programs, how students can get involved through nearly 300 student organizations and how the NDSU experience can help prepare them for career and life. International Falls Fire Department
Dryer fire: Falls firefighters spent about one hour Tuesday afternoon extinguishing fire in dryers at the Falls Laundromat, 1322 Third Ave. W. The fire was contained in the dryers, but the interior of the business was damaged by smoke. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
