Dear Santa - I am 2 1/2 years old and I'm having Mommy write this. I would like a talking doll, a doll highchair, table and chairs, and an ironing board and iron, like Mommy's. I am a good girl. I'll leave you cookies and milk. Thank you, Santa - Wendy Wickstrom. P.S. I would also like a baby brother if you have any left.

Dear Santa - I have been a good girl all year long. My mommie and daddy didn't spank me, either. I would like only one small gift for Christmas. I would like a real nice mink. - Ann Mae J. P.S. Merry Christmas, and I will leave cookies and pop on the table.

Memoriams

USMC

Kenneth Dobie

1922-2008

In memory of my foxhole buddy and best friend.

May he rest in peace.

William Rico

Powell, Ohio

Everett Pearson

Sept. 27, 1928-Dec. 23, 1987

God saw you getting tired,

And a cure was not to be;

So He put his arms around you,

And whispered, “Come home with Me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you fade away,

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A loving heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest;

God broke our hearts

To prove to us,

He only takes the best!

Sadly missed by his family and friends

William Morgan

Aug. 26, 1933-Dec. 22, 1996

To see your face and watch you smile,

To sit with you and talk a while;

To be together in the same old way,

Would be our greatest wish today.

The tears in our eyes we can wipe away,

But the ache in our hearts never goes away.

Life goes on, we know that it’s true;

But nothing is the same since we lost you.

Sadly missed by

Lee, family and many friends

Pet of the Week

Hi, my name is “Spike.” Such a big name for a small pup like me, but I’m sure I will grow in to it. I love to play with other dogs and I love it when my people friends hold me in their arms. If you look at my face, you would think I was a super hero of some type, check out my mask. If you have an empty spot in your heart that needs filling, I think my love can fill it. I am a sweet boy who has a wonderful personality. Let’s get together for a play date soon. — Thanks much, Spike
