In an effort to help educate voters who may participate in the Nov. 6 general election, The Journal asked candidates for positions that represent Borderland to answer the following questions. Only spelling errors were corrected and responses were limited to 500 words.
1. Briefly summarize your personal background and experiences.
2. Why are you the best candidate seeking this office?
3. What one or two things would you accomplish during your term and how would you accomplish them?
4. Is there something you want to tell constituents about yourself or your views, but haven’t been asked about?
