Eveleth-Gilbert scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday and defeated Falls High School 11-5 in Arrowhead Conference baseball.

Barrett Kalar and Tyler Coffield had two hits apiece for the Falls. Jake Eide threw 17 first-pitch strikes and struck out five through five innings, and Riley Beck had 10 first-pitch strikes and struck out three.

The Broncos (4-6 overall, 2-0 in the Arrowhead Conference) were scheduled to play a non-conference game at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Littlefork-Big Falls, and were scheduled to host Duluth Marshall in another non-conference game at noon today at Scheela Field.
