John Gordon Remmen, 54 years old, of Lakeville, Minn., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018.
John was an avid pheasant hunter, motorcyclist, and trapshooter.
He worked as a union pipefitter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Gladys Remmen.
John is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Brendan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Nancy Larsen; sisters-in-law, Amy Christianson (Darin) and Natalie McIntyre (Adam); brother-in-law, Leif Larsen (Ashley); and nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Lutheran House of Prayer, 7625 Chicago Ave., Richfield, Minn.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Thomson-Dougherty Mansion, 2535 Park Ave., Minneapolis, Minn., and one hour prior to the service at church.
Interment is at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
Thomson-Dougherty Historic Funeral Home, Minneapolis, was in charge of arrangements.
