The Littlefork City Council is expected to discuss new-year routine business when it meets Tuesday.
Mike Fort, Littlefork’s newly elected mayor, will preside over the first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. in Littlefork City Hall.
The council is expected to designate a council member to serve as deputy mayor as well as appoint a city attorney and a deputy clerk treasurer.
In other business, the council is expected to consider the approval of worker’s compensation coverage for council members, designate depositories, designate an official newspaper and discuss meal and mileage reimbursement rates.
City Administrator Mike Fairchild’s annual review is also expected to be discussed at the meeting.
At the beginning of each regular meeting, the Littlefork City Council holds an open public comment period when members of the audience may address the council on any topic.
