Alfred Maurice Jensen, 89 of International Falls, Minn. died on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at the Falls Good Samaritan Society.
He was born on Aug. 13, 1923 in Moorcroft, Wyoming.
Alfred enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country.
He was united in marriage to the former Donna Ruth Potter.
Alfred was owner/manager of Al’s Diner in International Falls; Alfred and Donna also previously owned the Black Cat and A&W Restaurant.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, shooting pool, playing cards and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his son; Timothy Jensen, parents; George and Clara (Thompson) Jensen, sisters; Thelma Kluckman and Esther Hansen, brothers; Frederick, Virgil and Fayette Jensen and a niece; Kay Dack.
Survivors include wife; Donna Ruth Jensen, sons; Bradley (Ellie) Jensen, Jerry (Mary Lou) Jensen, Dale (Janice) Jensen, daugther-in-law; Beth Jensen, sister; Erma Olson, 7 grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, special nephew; Kevin Milender and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. at Faith United Church of Christ.
Interment was at Ericsburg Cemetery.
