Anthony Augustine Lucca, 58, of International Falls, Minn., passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.
Anthony was born Dec. 12, 1953, in International Falls.
He was a lifelong resident and graduated from Falls High School in 1972.
He worked at Boise Cascade as a papermaker and machine operator. He also worked in food service at the Thunderbird Lodge.
Anthony enjoyed picking wild rice, blueberry picking, trapping, fishing, and cooking.
He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Geno Lucca; sister, Kathlyn; brother, John Lucca; and brother-in-law, Beaver Earnest.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Jennett Lucca of International Falls; son, Matthew (Sarah) Lucca of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Jackie Lucca of Frazee, Minn.; eight grandchildren; brothers, David (Michaele) Lucca of Hayward, Wis., Paul Lucca of Reno, Nev., Joseph (Connie) Lucca of Warroad, Minn., Peter (Susie) Lucca of Warroad, Minn., Daniel (Angela) of Andover, Minn., and James Lucca of International Falls; sisters, Julia Earnest of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Virginia (Stan) Conwell of East Bethel, Minn., Maryann (Steve) Stone of International Falls, Minn., Carolyn (Rich) Gauthier of Morristown, Minn., Bernadette (Joe) Corbett of Cedar, Minn., and Christine Krzoska of Two Harbors, Minn.
Memorial Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at noon.
Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
The family would prefer memorials in his memory.
