Beryl Maxine Nims, 98, of International Falls, Minn., passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-International Falls. Beryl was born Oct. 27, 1913, to Mrs. Della and Albert (Burt) Weeks in Rainy River, Ontario, Canada. She married Jay Richard Nims Jr. on Aug. 31, 1940, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Minneapolis, Minn. Beryl worked as a registered nurse at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Minneapolis General Hospital. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, International Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Della and Albert Weeks; husband, Jay Nims; and brother, George Weeks. Per Beryl’s wishes, no funeral services will be conducted. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, with her husband, Jay. Condolences may be left at www.greenlarsen.com.
