Betty Brader

Betty Jean Brader, 65, of International Falls, Minn., died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.

Betty was born Sept. 24, 1946, in Roseau, Minn., the eldest daughter of Wallace and Bertha Dahl.

She graduated from Falls High School in the Class of 1964 and attended Rainy River Community College.

Betty was married to Richard L. Brader.

She worked as a telephone operator for many years for Contel, and later as a nurse’s assistant at Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.

Before her years living with a debilitating stroke, Betty and her husband were active member of Rainy River Riders horsemanship group, enjoying their horses along with their children, Darren and Shelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Bertha; husband, Richard; daughter, Rachelle Kroszka; and brother, Warren Dahl.

Betty is survived by her son, Darren Brader; grandson, Kole; granddaughters, Angela and Ashley, and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis (Tom) Holm and Diane (Rick) Pieper, and other extended family members and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and cards at this time. We would like to especially thank the Good Samaritan Society-International Falls for lovingly caring for Betty for 13 years.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
