Diane Veronica Hoveland Lenth, 71, of International Falls, Minn., passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth, Minn., with her children and grandchildren surrounding her with love
Diane was born Jan. 30, 1941, in Hibbing, Minn., to her loving parents, Lola Paciotti Hoveland and Neil Hoveland.
She grew up in Hibbing, graduating from Hibbing High School in 1959.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Zubich; stepfather, Stanley Zubich; father, Neil Hoveland; and husband, Duane Lenth.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Joe) Vauthier; son, Michael Ficke; stepdaughters, Mary (Jeff) Friendt and Sandy Correia; and her grandchildren, Jason Besch, Caitlin Vauthier, Maddison Ficke, Rob (Kara) Friendt, Amanda Friendt, Matt (Alissa) Sabbe, Max Lenth and Isabelle Correia.
Diane has always been a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She would say that her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
Memorials in memory of Diane are preferred to the Community Cancer Walk.
