Edward A. Town, age 62, of Ham Lake, passed away Friday, Jan, 25, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was born Feb. 21, 1950, in International Falls, Minn.
He was raised at Lake Kabetogama, Minn. and served in the United States Navy following high school.
Ed was the owner of North Country Insulation, was an avid fisherman and vintage car collector.
He enjoyed spending time at his family’s cabin in Wisconsin, volunteering at the VA and his church and helping those in need.
He is survived by wife, Josette; children: Jennifer (fiancé Patrick) and Brian (Frannie); parents, Edward and Nettie; and brother, George (Terrie).
He was preceded in death by brother, Steven.
The family would especially like to thank the many doctors, nurses and the chaplain at Mercy Hospital.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Glen Cary Lutheran Church, 15531 Central Ave. NE.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
