Elizabeth Ann Horst, age 72, of Flint, Mich., died Feb. 15, 2013. Funeral Services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flint, Mich. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Elizabeth was born Aug. 10, 1940 in Littlefork, Minn., the daughter of Richard B. and Mae B. (Fry) Agnew.
She was a home economics teacher in the Flint Public Schools most recently in the Flint Schools of Choice. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and active with the Hand Bell Choir. She was brilliant in sewing and baking. She enjoyed craft shows, gardening, reading and donated her time and talents by making stuffed animals for children in the hospitals.
Surviving are: two sons, Jeff and wife Jennifer of Vancouver, Wash., Steve and wife Krishna of Swartz Creek; two grandchildren Samuel and Ella; two sisters, Mary Jane and husband Tom Pederson of Eagan Minn., Helen Bungert of Mission Viejo, Calif.; niece Suzanne; and nephew Roy.
