Elizabeth “Betty” McGregor, 94, of International Falls, Minn., died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Rainy Lake Medical Center.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 3, 1918, in Bemidji, Minn.
She moved to International Falls in 1929.
The former Elizabeth Major married Joseph McGregor in International Falls in 1934.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed baking and cooking, caring for others, and picking blueberries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Hazel Major; husband, Joseph A. McGregor; sister, Margaret Blesei; and brothers, Roy and Robert Major.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Joseph E. (Karen) McGregor of Shoreview, Minn.; grandchildren, Mike and Luke McGregor; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mardell Porter of California and Esther Blesei of Buffalo, Minn.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
