Gary Joseph White, 67, of International Falls, Minn., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at his home.
Gary was born Feb. 21, 1945, in International Falls.
He worked as a logger.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His favorite pastimes included lifting weights, riding his bike, walking in the woods, sitting in the back yard with a fire going, and watching the river and eagles flying over.
He also liked taking car rides just to look at the scenery, fishing, camping, woodworking, and all sports, especially hockey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Elodia White; brother, Richard; sister, Edna Powell; brother-in-law, Donald Powell; and grandchildren, Robyn, Bobbie-Joe and Ethan White.
Gary is survived by his special friend, Betty White; sons, Richard (Dina), Bruce Jr. (Deb) and Bradley (Tina); daughters, Toni and Betsey; grandchildren — Jordan, Ava, Isabell, Kayla, Cameron, Trevor, Sheldon, Brandon, Britney, Buddy, Bryan, Sarah, Benjamin, Madeline, Jack, Savanna, Alayna, Shelby and Hayden; and great-grandchildren — Ethan, Aubrey, Sophie, Ethan, Eliana and Kiera; brother, Rueben (Peggy); special friends, Jim Wolden, Jr. Moyer, Jackie Jourdain and Bruce Lutgen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters- and brothers-in-law.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Riverside Trailer Court, No. 105.
