St. Thomas School recently conducted its annual marathon for non-public education. A goal of $12,000 was set, and if the students reached it, custodian Russ Strand and principal/priest Fr. Kris McKusky agreed to switch places for the day. Students raised a whopping $14,807.77, so Oct. 17, the two switched jobs for the day. Strand did various duties such as leading the weekly prayer service, doing announcements, and leading the staff meeting before school. In the photo, students had fun giving Fr. McKusky some things to sweep up. It was reported that everyone was a good sport, and it was all for a great cause.
