Hilda Mae Major, 92, died Wednesday, June 12, 2012, at Timberwood Court, Albany, Ore.
She was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Swift, Minn., to Conrad and Florence Kittelson.
She moved with her family to International Falls, Minn., in 1926.
She married Roy Benjamin Major on Feb. 22, 1940, and later moved to Lebanon, Ore., to raise a family.
Hilda attended North Albany Community Church for several years.
She enjoyed gardening, baking and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was a caring, giving person and will be deeply missed by those who’s lives she touched.
Hilda is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wall; sons, Rodney Major, Russell Major and wife Rose, and Phillip Major and wife Wendy; sisters, Madge Baron, Sophie Cyr, Phylis Klay, Betty Hull, Marilyn Wednchuk and Carolyn Taylor; brothers, Melvin Kittelson, and Trevor Kittelson; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, LeRoy; parents; sister, Tootsie Baron; brothers, Elmer, Howard, Delbert and Harold; and daughters-in-law, Elaine Major, Crystal Major.
A private family Celebration of Life will be conducted in August.
