Jack Dickson

The family of Jack Patrick Dickson is sad to announce his passing Monday, March 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jack was born June 21, 1955, to Marjorie and John Dickson in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

He lived most of his life in Fort Frances, Ontario.

Jack worked for UPS for 12 years before joining Ainsworth. He worked in Barwick for 15 years, leaving to pursue his hobbies.

Jack was very meticulous, enjoying photography, home renovations, travel and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lois, who he married on July 30, 1983. His children, Ashley Jensen (Aaron) of Bemidji, Minn., Matthew and Michael of Fort Frances, and his grandson, Dylan. He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Linda, Beverly and Debby; brother, Dan; mother- and father-in-law, Helen and Wesley Jacobs; sister-in-law, Myrna and John Beachy; brother-in-law, Jon and Lorelei Jacobs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
