Work continues on replacement of the Jackfish Bay bridge, as well as the Tilson Creek bridges, on Highway 11 East. Vehicles are restricted to a single lane controlled by portable traffic signals at each construction site. The new bridges will have wider shoulders than the old bridges had and each bridge includes a 10-foot-wide pedestrian trail separated from vehicle traffic by a concrete median. The projects are scheduled for completion in June 2013.
