Jane Knutson, age 63, of St. Peter, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Woodland Hills Funeral Home, Mankato.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at Zion Lutheran Church, International Falls, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Jane was born March 13, 1949, to Hans and Clara (Reiten) Knutson in North Dakota.
She attended Falls High School, Class of 1967.
After high school she went to Minnesota State University Mankato and earned a degree in art education. Jane later went to nursing school in the Twin Cities and became a registered nurse.
In her free time she enjoyed spending time at the cabin and with her family.
She also enjoyed music and dancing.
She is survived by her mother of Mankato, formerly of International Falls; sister, Linda (Dennis) Hoppe of Mankato; brothers, Albert (Linda) Knutson of Saginaw, LeRoy (Theresa) Knutson of Pemberton, Allan (Geraldine) Knutson of International Falls and Steven (Lyla “Pumpkin”) Knutson of Warroad; and several nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her father.
Interment will be at Ericsburg Cemetery.
