Justine B. Baron, age 96, of International Falls, Minn., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Good Samaritan Society-International Fall.
Justine was born in Rauch, Minn., June 16, 1916, the daughter of Kostio and Julia (Rushak) Baron.
She attended Harrigan School in Rauch up to the 10th grade and went on to the 11th grade at Falls High School.
Justine enjoyed traveling and spent much of her life in various cities across the nation.
She worked for 40 years as a cashier, waitress, and hostess in a variety of hotels and restaurants from coast to coast.
She purchased her father’s homestead in 1959 and retired to the country in 1984 where she enjoyed 17 years of country living before moving into the Woodland Apartments in International Falls.
Justine was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kostio and Julia Baron; eight brothers, Mike, Alec, Nick, John, Harry, Frank, George and Matt; and sisters, Anna, Katherine, Sophie, Mary and Irene.
Justine is survived by many nieces and nephews.
