Volunteers from the Sons of Norway Lodge of International Falls and Family and Consumer Science teacher Marva Fairchild were on hand recently to teach Falls High School FACS students how to make lefsa. Throughout the day, 50 students had seven grills going. Reportedly, it was a new experience for about half the students and a first time actually making lefsa for most. Many taste-testers in the school attested to the students’ success. Volunteers from the Sons of Norway Lodge included Lyle Windsnes, Mary Moe, Craig Moe, Dick Bergh, Mike Romslo and Judy Thompson. Pictured with the volunteers are some of the eighth grade FACS students.
