Leon (Nick) LeRoy Noland was born Oct. 30, 1936, in Littlefork, Minn.
He died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Davis Hospice Center, Cheyenne, Wyo.
He graduated from Falls High School in 1954.
He has resided in Wyoming the past 45 years.
He is survived by his five children, Valerie Beck Standish, Richard Noland, Laurie Noland Strohm, Michael Noland and Jennifer Shelton; sisters, Nancy (Lawrence) Rognerud and Rosalie Noland; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Mariah, Brandy, Chance, Pam, Laci, Damien, Ainsley, Kyle and Kollin; one great-granddaughter, Keegan Rose; nephews, LeRoy Rognerud, Brian Arnold and Brent Arnold; and nieces, Tina (Nathan) Meyers and Shelly Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Etta Noland; wife, Karen; and nieces, LeaAnn Rognerud and Carrie Arnold.
Graveside services will be conducted at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls, at a later date.
