Lilly L. Bartlett, 93, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Kingston Care Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Born in Walhalla, N.D., Lilly worked as a press operator with Eagle Pitcher for 12 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Carroll Community Worship Center.
She loved crocheting, traveling and reading, especially, her Bible.
Her family was everything to her.
Surviving are her son, James “Jack” J. (Linda) Bartlett of Fort Wayne; daughters, Jayne Penland and Judy A. Aschleman, both of Fort Wayne, and Melody A. Crossgrove of Leo, Ind.; sister, Ruby E. White of International Falls, Minn.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren .
Lilly was preceded in death by parents, Albert J and Cynthia M. Conat; husband, James Bartlett; son, Richard Bartlett; brothers, Alan and Leslie Conat; sisters, Vione A. Stevenson, Rachel Long and Florence Fraser; daughter-in-law, Melissa Bartlett; and son-in-law, David A Crossgrove.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev Verlin Herrer will officiate.
Calling also was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo.
